Service fitting quick coupler

Our service fitting quick coupler are designed for A/C service units using R744 (CO2) in vehicle air conditioning systems. They ensure reliable connections and meet all SAE J639 requirements, making them ideal for professional workshops servicing cars, buses, and more vehicle types.

Multiple Configurations

The service fitting quick coupler are available in various configurations to meet different application requirements.

SAE 1/4″ | 7/16″-20 UNF

360° rotatable with hose connection DN4

SAE 1/4″ | 7/16″-20 UNF 90° elbow

In accordance with SAE J639

The service couplings meet all SAE requirements for refrigerant R744 and seal reliably on the service valves of air conditioning systems using refrigerant R744.

Technical-constructive features

Easy assignment for connection to the high-pressure and low-pressure service valves of the vehicle air conditioning system is ensured by the color-coded surfaces of the service couplings. The service couplers feature a pressure relief mechanism that prevents the coupling blow-off during installation and removal.

The flow paths of the service couplers can only be opened once they are securely engaged and locked on the service valves. Before opening the flow path of the service coupler, it must be securely engaged and locked on the valve body.

Opening and closing are performed via a separate actuator, which is clearly recognizable as such. Two separate functions prevent the valve from being released from the service valve while open.

The service couplers can be easily released and decoupled from the service valves after hydraulic closure and venting of the dead space. A service valve that does not close properly after the filling process can be detected by venting the dead space while closing the service coupler.

The advantage of R744 over other refrigerants

R744 (CO2) is increasingly preferred as a refrigerant in vehicle air conditioning systems as it is more environmentally friendly and has a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than conventional refrigerants such as R134a or R1234yf. CO2 is a naturally occurring gas that contains no ozone depleting substances, making it a sustainable choice for the automotive air conditioning industry.
